HA! You thought this was going to be all emo, didn't you? Well, it's not like I don't have emo to share, but really, it's a handful of long stories that you really won't care about.

Anyways, I'm going to some conventions in the coming weeks, wondered if any of you lot would be there:

I'll be wandering Dexcon in NJ this weekend, Thursday for sure, maybe some other days, schmoozing and so on.

I'll be at Gencon in Indy on the second weekend of August, from Thursday to Sunday.

If you'll be around, get at me, and maybe we can game together or something, give me a face to put to the avatar and all...

One more thing: the contest [link] is still going on, and the other projects are trundling along, should have something to show for those in the next week or so.

Sorry. Will be heading to Otakon next weekend. Was going to SDCC for the first time but decided not to since its too expensive.

I hope you have fun. I'm not really a fan of conventions, especially when sometimes I had to camp out in a 4-person hotel room with like 12 other people. :/

Also, how is the contest going? Did you get any entries yet? I'll still try to turn in an entry but I'm working on a couple other pics at the moment. It still ends on September 30th, right?

It can be a little touch-and-go, not to mention expensive...

I'm going to Dexcon because it's nearby,(I live in NY) and it's also more business than pleasure for me.

Someone I've worked with in publishing said it's a good place to talk to people who I might be able to get work from, so i figure I could try it out.

Re: the contest: I've gotten a few people like yourself saying that they'll see what they can get done in time. It still ends on the 30th, so there's plenty of time.

No worries. I've never been to SDCC either, because of the cost. Dexcon is close to me, and I know people in Indy that I'm going to stay with, so Gencon's not too bad cost-wise.

Hey dude. I'd be up for puruesing the convention curcuit, but unfortunately I'm way SW of you. Hope you get in some good networking info from some of the folks there to get into work that you'll love as well as have a little fun to

When you get a minute please add on the year sub to the contest goodies. On third page of my plot for you. I figure this isn't the normal format for setting up a plot, but it's how this plot is fleshing out
